Mission Statement

In an American Culture where the divorce rate among Christian men and women is 50% or higher, 4BetterOr4Worse Ministry seeks to be used by God to meet married Christian men where they are with His love in the hope of improving marriages.

We do this in the following ways:

• One-on-one mentoring of married Christian Men (primary focus of the ministry)
• Speaking/Teaching in churches and men’s / small groups.
• This Web Site – which brings support resources to those who mentor and those who are being mentored.

While the majority of the material used in speaking and mentoring applies to both husbands and wives, the heart of this ministry is directed toward strengthening the role of the husband.

Statement of Faith

4BetterOr4Worse Ministries believes that we are saved by the gift of grace, given to us by God the Father through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Eternal life is given as the gift of grace and not earned by the good things we do or taken away by the bad things we do. We are saved simply because we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, in our place.

4BetterOr4Worse Ministry believes in a one-man, one-woman definition of marriage.

Our Organization

4BetterOr4Worse is a for-profit ministry dedicated to improving marriages through the promotion of one-on-one mentoring.  All revenues and donations are used to fund ministry programs.  If you have questions about the financial stewardship of this ministry, please see our annual budget located in the File Drawer page or you can send your inquiry via the Post Office page.

About our Podcasts

Our podcasts are developed and produced for the benefit of those involved in mentoring.  You can get them here at no charge.  While other sites might charge a lot more the information they offer, we never want money to come between those in need and God’s truth.

Often, the podcasts are expanded versions of what you may have read in the blog.  Some are live recordings of previous speaking engagements on subjects that directly relate to God’s view of what a Christian husband and parent is.  In addition, you might find recordings of messages and/or sermons by other speakers or pastors.

We are fortunate and grateful to have Timothy John assist with the production of our podcasts. Timothy John is a Worship Director at Holland Baptist Church and has one album of original songs that were preformed, written and produced by him. Presently he is working on his second album and hopes to release it in the fall of 2009.  Most of the songs Timothy John writes are directly based on the Word of God, check out his website to hear samples of his songs from links on this website.  We’re glad to have his support in this ministry.

Credits

The development the ministry and our internet presence is truly a group effort.  The only person that can take sole credit for the momentum of this ministry and this great community is our Lord God in Heaven.   That said, this ministry would not have made it to this point without the love and support of a close core of individuals:
