There are those among us that aspired to for richer and have suddenly found themselves for poorer. Some reveled in health and never saw in sickness coming. We stood in front of God and everyone and vowed for better but hadn’t ever considered for worse. Waiting on provision through the poverty isn’t fun or easy. Finding peace when illness strikes is difficult. Answers that work are elusive when your relationships are at their worst.

We’ve changed a few things on the website! The Garage, Coffee House, and Corral pages rarely saw any activity, so we removed them.
Prayer requests have been moved to Facebook. The new fan page for prayer requests is called 4Prayer (there is a link to it on the Chapel page here. We will keep the chapel page here for folks who want prayer but are not on Facebook. Please click over to the Chapel page and read more detailed notes there.

In an American Culture where the divorce rate among Christian men and women is 50% or higher, 4BetterOr4Worse Ministry seeks to be used by God to meet married Christian men where they are with His love in the hope of improving marriages.
This web community is one of three ways that we reach that objective. Our ministry is all about mentoring – encouraging married Christian men so they can be husbands their wives can brag about. We’re currently building a network of Christian men who are solid in the faith and have veteran life experience. These trained men will help other men work through difficult and challenging times in their relationships with their wives and children. In addition, the ministry founder, Bert DeVries, is speaking to churches, couples groups, and mens’ groups, to bring the truth of God’s intentions for husbands and marriages. This website serves to bring a sense of community and practical, personal resources to support men in this mentoring process.
